CEREC Crowns/Inlays/Onlays

Crowns are full-coverage restorations used to cover a tooth that has too large of a filling making it vulnerable to breaking. With our Cerec 3-D digital scanner and printer, this allows for ease of digital impression taking, preparation of the tooth and cementation all in one day (less than 3 hours).

Blue Light Laser

Oral Laser Therapy allows for excess gum tissue removal and re-shaping.  This method also allows for speeding up the healing process for canker sores and cold sores.

iTero (Impressionless Dentistry)

Gone are the days of the ‘goopy impressions’.  With better accuracy and increased patient comfort, taking a digital photo scan of your teeth allows for quicker appointments and better patient experiences in the chair.  Digital scans can be utilized to fabricate nightguards, implants, Invisalign, crowns, and dentures.

Botox/Lip Injectables

Periodontal Surgery

Our periodontist further examines the gum tissues and surrounding bone to manage and treat chronic gum disease, bone loss and recession. The decision to place dental implants is treatment planned by both the dentist and periodontist which usually requires a special x-ray after the initial consultation. Our periodontist places all implants, bone grafting and sinus lifts in the comfort of our office.

Oral Surgery

Whether it is unwanted wisdom teeth, extra teeth requiring removal for orthodontic reasons, bone grafting, a badly broken down or cavitated tooth or a tooth with advanced periodontal disease, our in-house dental surgeon will consult with you to make sure you are informed with the procedure being performed and what to expect before, during and after the extraction.  We offer different modalities for a pleasurable experience including nitrous oxide, oral sedation and local anesthetic.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canals can save a tooth that has become severely infected or decayed.  When the diagnosis indicates the need for root canal treatment, our first priority is our patient’s peace of mind. Once the procedure is completed, your dentist will decide on a final restoration and discuss possible internal bleaching if the tooth remains discoloured.

Iveri Whitening

Each new patient at Leaside Dentistry will get the chance to experience a complimentary one round in-office whitening after they have completed a new patient exam with us.  Iveri sets itself apart from all other in-office whitening systems because not only does it put the sparkle back into your smile, even with the strongest stains (i.e. Tetracycline stains), but unlike all the other systems, ours is painless and non-invasive. It’s sold as a 1 hour 4 round treatment that has best results just after completing your cleaning appointment. We also offer a take-home system of custom trays and Opalescence PF whitening gel that you can wear at your convenience, day or night. Treatment duration varies depending on desired shade, typically 7-14 days. This is a great option for long lasting whitening results.
